Web Developer PHP/SQL

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Web Developer who has extensive experience with PHP and MySQL/MariaDB in a Linux environment.

At peak we handle 100+ connections/second, in this environment mistakes are costly and time savings for code improvement are huge. After intial training we are looking to set you free and have you architect and develop projects that we don't have enough manpower to tackle. You should be comfortable testing and re-testing your code to make sure no bugs make it into production, working with others, and training the sales people in the company on how to use your new creations.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, plan, write, and test new functionality based on guidelines from sales and management.
  • Improve existing code base, based on changing business requirements.
  • Integrate new vendors and clients via their API systems.
  • Create API systems for third parties to plug into our system, keeping security in mind, throttling bad actors, creating human readable documentation on how to use your new API.
  • Plug in functionality in designer created websites, jQuery with AJAX, CSS/HTML changes, write back end code to support said AJAX requests, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university is preferred but not requiered
  • At least 5 years of experience with PHP + MariaDB/MySQL.
  • A passion for code.
  • Knowledge of jQuery, how to build web interfaces with ajax requests, modals, validation, div/form navigation, plug ins such as charts, progress bars, etc..
  • Ability to interface with non-IT staff, gather task requirements, then build an interface/functionality to meet their needs and train them on it.
  • Comfortable reading API documentation from third parties and troubleshooting and integrating into various systems
  • Self Starter - someone who will ask questions if something is out of place or an opportunity presents itself to improve a system or workflow.

Digital Marketing Manager (PPC)

Job Description

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of PPC (Pay Per Click) Advertising. You will be responsible for keyword and ad creation along with the research and competitive analysis that comes with it.

You should have at least 2 years of experience with PPC, 5+ years is preferred. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, knows what they're doing, will watch the campaigns like a hawk, and will hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

  • Research and harvest keyword lists, create ads, build negative keyword lists, create campaign grouping(s), create campaigns based on day parting, geo targeting, device segmentation, etc.
  • Build and manage campaigns with 20+ networks such as Bing, Adwords, Bidvertise, Advertise.com, Outbrain, Nativo, etc.
  • Take ownership of the initial strategy, account & campaign(s) set-up, daily maintenance and optimization, and provide detailed reporting, applying critical thinking and take actionable insight.
  • Responsible with balancing KPIs along with volume requirements and your hard work will be rewarded with commission based on performance.
  • Developing relationships with advertising networks to improve overall campaign performance.
  • Take ownership and be at the ready to explain questions pertaining to the status of the advertising campaign on each network

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of PPC experience, 5+ years is preferred.
  • Knowledge of competition Analysis services like SEM Rush
  • A passion for beating your competitors.
  • Knowledge of Ad and keyword best practices
  • Knowledge of behavioral and contextual marketing.
  • Online Keyword planner and research tools
  • Knowledge of remarketing strategies
  • Knowledge of efficient keyword grouping, negative keywords, broad match vs exact match, etc.
  • Technical aspects of HTML, pixel placement, URL structures
