Business Development Manager



Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will grow revenue by establishing, negotiating and developing profitable business relationships with lead sellers - agencies/companies/individual website owners that sell the leads they collect in real-time.

An individual in this position will identify and execute cost-effective, scalable deals for us to purchase leads from advertising agencies and website owners. This individual will negotiate pricing and acquire inventory on a pay per lead basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing new partnerships and lead buying opportunities.
  • You should be comfortable cold calling potential lead sellers and staying persistent throughout the process to close the deal.
  • Negotiating and managing profitable lead buys.
  • Developing strong relationships with partners to continually grow business.
  • Travel 3-4 times per year to industry trade shows to meet with clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience.
  • A passion for sales and closing the deal.
  • A self-starter who takes pride in their work and has the drive to succeed.
  • Experience with Online Publisher programs, or Online sales is preferred but not required.
  • Candidate needs to be skilled in talking on the phone, Skype, and email with clients.

PPC Manager / Media Buyer (PPC)



Job Description:

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of PPC (Pay Per Click) Advertising. You will be responsible for keyword and ad creation along with the research and competitive analysis that comes with it.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of managing 6-7 figure monthly ad budgets with a positive ROI.

You should be someone who dreams in Keywords and Ads. Excel pivot tables bow down to your awesomeness when you do analytics to find profitable keywords.

Being a self starter is a must. You will not be micro managed. You will be given a direction and a budget and the world will be your oyster. You will blaze the path conquering your competitors.

You should have at least 5 years of experience with PPC. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, knows what they're doing, will watch the campaigns like a hawk, and will hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and harvest keyword lists, create ads, build negative keyword lists, create campaign grouping(s), create campaigns based on day parting, geo targeting, device segmentation, etc.
  • Build and manage campaigns with 20+ networks such as Bing, Adwords, Bidvertise, Advertise.com, Outbrain, Nativo, etc.
  • Take ownership of the initial strategy, account & campaign(s) set-up, daily maintenance and optimization, and provide detailed reporting, applying critical thinking and take actionable insight.
  • Responsible with balancing KPIs along with volume requirements and your hard work will be rewarded with commission based on performance.
  • Developing relationships with advertising networks to improve overall campaign performance.
  • Take ownership and be at the ready to explain questions pertaining to the status of the advertising campaign on each network
  • Source new partnerships and click buying opportunities. If someone is selling clicks you will waive a credit card in their face ready to buy (but only if it's profitable for you).

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of PPC experience
  • Knowledge of competition Analysis services like SEM Rush

Senior Web Developer PHP/SQL



Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Senior Web Developer who has extensive experience with PHP and MySQL/MariaDB in a Linux environment.

At peak we handle 200+ connections/second, in this environment mistakes are costly and time savings for code improvement are huge. After initial training of our systems we are looking to set you free and have you architect and develop projects that we don't have enough manpower to tackle. You should be comfortable testing and re-testing your code to make sure no bugs make it into production, working with others, and training the sales people in the company on how to use your new creations.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, plan, write, and test new functionality based on guidelines from sales and management. 70% of the code will be in PHP with SQL, 30% will be with jquery/html/css.
  • Improve existing code base, front end and back end, based on changing business requirements.
  • Integrate new vendors and clients via their API systems.
  • Create API systems for third parties to plug into our system, keeping security in mind, and create human readable documentation on how to use your new API.
  • Plug in functionality for designer created websites, jQuery with AJAX, CSS/HTML changes, write back end code to support said AJAX requests, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year university is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience with PHP + MariaDB/MySQL, 10+ years preferred.
  • A solid understanding of MariaDb/MySQL is preferred. Concurrency issues, optimizing queries for speed beyond indexes, etc.
  • A passion for code. You have dreams in PHP.
  • OOP programming - comfortable with classes, building code that can be modular and reused.
  • Knowledge of jQuery, take designer created website and plug in ajax requests, modals, validation, div/form navigation, plug ins such as charts, progress bars, etc. Ability to reverse engineer jquery plugs in and modify them to your needs.
  • Ability to interface with non-IT staff, gather task requirements, then build an interface/functionality to meet their needs and train them on it.
  • Comfortable reading API documentation from third parties and troubleshooting and integrating into various systems.
  • Self Starter - someone comfortable troubleshooting tasks on their own but will also ask questions if something is out of place or an opportunity presents itself to improve a system or workflow.

Preferred skills but not required:

  • Linux systems administration
